I spoke to Mike McCauliffe this morning. Dershowitz asked Mike for early termination of Epstein's 
home confinement status. Dershowitz represented that due to the organized crime link to I
Epstein's confinement at home may make him a target. He further represented that someone had 
recently trespassed on Epstein's property and that this person could have been a member of 
organized crime. I asked Mike if Dershowitz made this pitch with a straight face. 
That being said, I told him that Epstein's request should be treated in accordance with their policies 
and procedures. After our conversation, he said that he saw no reason to modify Epstein's home 
confinement status.
