Is now a good time to revive the Arab peace initiative? 
U.S. Secretary of State John Kern' has made no secret of his desire to jump 
start the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. Press reports have suggested 
that to do so he may attempt to convince the parties in the region to 
reconsider the so-called Arab peace initiative. 
However, with all of the necessary parties focused on regional turmoil and 
threats - from the instability in Egypt to the civil war in Syria to the Iranian 
nuclear program - this does not seem to be a propitious time to push Israel 
to make dangerous concessions to neighbors who show no new interest in 
peace. In fact, rather than expanding peace, the greater fear at the moment 
is that the Israeli-Egyptian peace treaty might unravel.

The Museum of the History of Polish Jewry opened recently in Warsaw. 
The building faces a plaza and a memorial commemorating the Warsaw 
Ghetto Uprising heroes and heroines. Finnish
