My favorite gift was a necklace that I received.
It has a long silver chain, has buttons on it, and plays music. Actually, that
pole position is shared with another gift I received - that of a wish to be
granted - I don't believe that I was ever granted an open wish before - You are
definitely a man who is not afraid of danger.
Regarding my sleeping problem - It has not gone away - Either I can't fall
asleep, or if I do, I wake up a couple of hours later and then can't fall sleep
again. I am wizzing through all the books I wanted to read, and so far am not
suffering too much from lack of sleep - I yawn a lot, am a little grumpy and
slower than normal. This condition can't last for ever, so I am waiting out the
problem hoping to fall asleep on any given night and wake up at least 8 hours
later. Don't suggest I take a pill - loath pills of any nature, hardly even will
take a Tylenol.
By the way, it is never too late to call - If I hear it ring I answer it, and if
I am not in the mood to answer the phone it goes to silent non vibrate mode and I
can't hear it. I never take it to bed with me, so it has no chance of waking me
up if I manage to go to sleep!
When will you receive the gift I sent you Tuesday? It's nothing to do w/self
help.
I am going back to the island later today - got my movie fix

Congratulations Auntie Ghislaine. Just one more to call you their favoriteEFTA_R1_01282450 EFTA02335276
aunt. And I can see why. I never had an aunt like you.
14 miles, I'm impressed.
I got tons of books too. It was strange, most gifts were something to make
me relax. Guess people think I'm a little stressed or something and take
pity on me. Everything from self help books, to a fishing pole. Sheesh.
Why, I told you last night what my favorite gift was. The email I got from
you of course.
What was yours?

One of my brothers had a baby today. For precision sake last night at
11.35pm UK time - the 24th - that was a close thing. It is his first
and it was a long time in coming, not w/out complications . with 6
brothers and sisters that meant a lot of phones calls. + one of by
brothers has 7 kids - they each have to have their say + then there
are 8 other nieces and nephews out there and I am the favorite aunt -
I am sure you get the picture.
I have some friends who are down here and whose children I am very
close to and they came over early to open my presents - apparently
after they had decimated their own all they could think about was
mine - it was fun as they did all the unwrapping and all the
commentating. This was followed by a beach walk - about 14 miles of
beach walk.
The rest of the day comprised of sitting out by the pool w/piles of
magazines, and several books which I was given.
It is what I call a lazy day, quiet and peaceful

PS
If your Dad's picture was your second favorite gift, which by the
way sounds wonderful, and something to treasure, what was the
favorite?
