That would be nice. I will continue my work here. If there is any way I can contribute to your work, let me know. Telepathy does exist among the persons I have seen and known. I am less concerned about convincing the paranormal crowd of its validity than I am of convincing my professional colleagues of its veracity, leading to more research on its origins and mechanisms not just in persons with autism, but in all of us. We have all had some ESP/telepathy experiences but tend to dismiss them as UFO's and all the skepticism that acconpanies them. Time for serious study. The good news is that I think we all agree it is worthwhile. Hopefully, the Templeton Foundation will feel the same. Best, Diane On Mon, Jul 17, 2017 at 6:06 PM, Paul J. Mills c , "Paul J. Because we videoed Hayley for over 7 hours of experiments, the video files were so large they crashed our computers whenever we tried to send even a fraction via the internet. The videographer offered to send them to Darold, but in order to do so he needed to save them to a hard drive and mail them via snail mail, which Darold didn't want. This was several years ago and the videographer is no longer working with me. The videos, unfortunately, wouldn't convince anyone who is a skeptic anyway. Without the proper protocol of the child and "sender" being in separate rooms, there are negative ramifications of prematurely labeling this as telepathy. Dean Radin and other parapsychologists warned me of precisely the reaction Darold describes, which is why it didn't make sense to write it up as a single case report. (I wrote the EdgeScience article at the request of its editor, who had heard of my work and wondered how it fit with Baron Simon-Cohen's theory.) Darold has the advantage of living in the same state as Hayley, so it would be easier for him to do a follow-up with her to see if she can still do this. I haven't been able to return, in large part because I can no longer afford to pay for my research out of my private practice. At this point, without funding I am limited in terms of what I can do. A question: at the conference, and perhaps it was in your presentation I don't recall, a film was shown of Leslie Lemke playing the piano simultaneously with another pianist , a piece he had never heard before. No brain / neuroscience explanation was provided, but I can't help wonder how that could be done if not through a telepathy type skill where he could see the information at the same time the other pianist was playing. Thank you for your willingness to view the video. Best, Paul From: Darold Trefferet mailto Date: Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 1:21 PM To: "Paul J. In my recent review of our savant registry, now over 300+ cases, about 1% of parents or other reporters indicated ESP/telepathy abilities in that sample. When Rimland did his review of 350O detailed parent reports he also noted about 1% had paranormal abilities. Even in my most recent acquired savant sample (59 cases) one such case reported paranormal abilities newly present. And I have been working with a girl with severe autism impairment since 2013 who shows clear (to me) telepathy connection with her ABA therapist. Diane knows about that case. And I am familiar with two other such cases in other countries. I am busy the next two days with a filming for NHK japan television with GOMA, Hiroki Morimoto, a rock star Didgeridoo player in Japan http:gomaweb.com who has now acquired savant art abilities. He will be visiting the Treffert Center with the Japanese film crew tomorrow and Friday. Let me review the clip you sent and get back to you sometime next week. I enjoyed participating in the Salk Conference electronically at least, but it is not a good as being there. Had I been there on Saturday is was my intent to discuss my involvement with paranormal skills in autistic persons with discussion of my nearby case with that closed group. The tapes I have over these past four years are convincing indeed. Darold A. Treffert, M.D. 5 EFTA_R1_01364436 EFTA02367007 www.treffertcenter.com www.savantsyndrome.com From: Paul J.
