The Global Skills Taxonomy can be cross-
walked with other international taxonomies,
such as O*NET, enabling organizations to
compare skills consistently across systems
and facilitating seamless data integration. In
cross-walking, it is common to encounter in-
stances where a single skill in one taxonomy
maps to multiple skills in another. This often
happens because taxonomies may define
skills with varying degrees of detail or breadth
depending on their specific purpose. In these
cases, aligning the skill with the closest
matches based on their definitions, or consol-
idating them under broader skill categories,
can help maintain relevance while accommo-
dating differences in scope.Working with others Empathy and active listening 2.A.1.b. Active Listening
