Product and platform innovation Trading platforms and innovative wealth management solutions have lowered the entry barriers to capital markets while providing access to more sophisticated investing strategies and products. Platform requirements expectations can differ depending on investor type. Approximately one out of two investors participate via a trading account, and wealthier investors often prefer more advanced analytics. Low-fee trading has expanded market access, but limited awareness and understanding still curtail investment in some assets. Perceived unpredictability as a reason for avoiding a product rose from 13% in 2022 to 21% in 2024 for investors.
