Acknowledgements
The authors would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the more
than 20 organizations – from a wide range of geographies and industries and
encompassing commercial, public-sector and social entities – who have so
generously and openly shared the experience of their GenAI early-adoption
journey, and without whom this report would not have been possible. They
are pioneering important insights that will be relevant to efforts to promote job
augmentation and build a more human-centric future of work for years to come.
To allow for open insight-sharing on a complex and rapidly evolving issue, this
research report has agreed to provide anonymity to participating organizations.
In future, the Jobs Initiative, coordinated by the World Economic Forum,
endeavors to also publish detailed organizational-level case studies of job
augmentation as an additional resource.
We would equally like to thank a number of leading experts for their time and
deep insight in speaking to us while conducting the research for this report. A
special thank you to Erik Brynjolfsson and Dart Lindsley.
Last but not least, we are grateful to the members of the Jobs Initiative
Champions, Good Work Alliance, Chief People Officers Community, and Global
Future Council on Job Creation for their on-going commitment to promoting
good jobs for all through championing, shaping and driving the portfolio of work
of the Jobs Initiative.
