She never hesitated to speak her mind (loudly), particularly when one of the aforementioned themes were in play. She was a giver not of money of which she had little, but of herself, her time, her love, and her spirit. She was loved and will be missed by her surviving family members, her parents, Albert and Maxine Scott; her children, Jennifer Huber, Eric Burns, and Nathaniel Holley; her eight grandchildren; her sister, Suzanne Holley; and her brother, Albert Scott III. A memorial was held on Monday October 27, 2014 during which friends and family shared memories of a strong-willed, feisty, loving, and giving Lisa. The discussion of her life would not be complete without acknowledging that her life was hard lots of pain, sorrow, and struggle. Her loved ones feel confident that she is in a better place now and we find peace thinking about her singing, dancing, and laughing in the sun.
