Here’s a look at some of the shows we’ve been glad to see more of: 1. “The Mindy Project”: Fans of Fox’s scrappy, scrapped little romantic comedy “The Mindy Project” have had both very bad and very good news this month: After Fox pulled the plug on Mindy Kaling’s show, Hulu was quick to snatch it up, ordering a huge 26-episode season earlier today. Maybe we’ll get to see Mindy and Dr. Danny Castellano (and their baby) live happy ever after after all. Thankfully, Yahoo! picked it up and ordered a 13-episode sixth season that premiered earlier this year, so we can see what happens to our favorite Greendale Community College students. (Photo: Yahoo!) “The Killing”: After AMC killed off its creepy crime drama, “The Killing” after three seasons in 2013, Netflix swooped in to save the day, ordering a six-episode fourth season to finish off the story that had ended on a rather incomplete note in season three. Netflix brought back most of the AMC show’s actors and crew members to produce the season, which became available in fall 2014. The show ended in 2006, but Netflix decided to bring it back to life for a 15-episode fourth season in 2013 that proved to be wildly popular, even if the format was a little different. A fifth season may be in the works, insiders have said.
