ENERGY Community meeting highlights solar issues in Oregon Comment DailyTidings.com Writer Posted Apr. 10, 2015 at 12:01 AM Posted Apr. 10, 2015 at 12:01 AM » Social News As a part of a campaign to bring 10 times more solar power to Oregon, Environment Oregon is organizing 11 town hall meetings across the state to educate and engage the public on solar issues in Oregon. Local elected officials, community members, small business owners, solar experts, and environmental advocates will provide well-rounded expertise on solar power in the state. One of these town halls meetings will be hosted from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, April 10, in the Ashland Public Library's Gresham Meeting Room. Environment Oregon members and other interested community members will hear presentations from a number of experts, including Alan Journet from Southern Oregon Climate Action Now, Eric Hansen from True South Solar, and Charlie Fisher from  Environment Oregon.
