When Elle Woods is dumped by her college boyfriend for someone "serious," she puts down the credit cards, hits the books and heads for Harvard Law School to hijack the engagement. Book is by Heather Hach, and music and lyrics are by Laurence O'Keefe and Neil Benjamin. Rebecca K. Campbell directs. Tickets are $21 to $24, $5 for students, and can be purchased online at camelottheatre.org or by calling 541-535-5250. Los Lonely Boys The Chicano rock power trio from San Angeles, Texas, plays a style of music it calls "Texican rock 'n' roll," a mix of rock 'n' roll, Texas blues, brown-eyed soul, country and Tejano music. The show is set for 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at the Rogue Theatre, 143 S.E. H St., Grants Pass. Guitarist Jack Hopfinger will open. Tickets are $45, $55 or $65 and can be purchased online at roguetheatre.com or by calling 541-471-1316. The show is open to ages 21 and older. Kevin Selfe and The Tornadoes Portland singer, songwriter and guitarist Kevin Selfe and his band The Tornadoes will play rockin' electric blues at 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at Howiee's, 16 N. Front St., Medford. Selfe's 2015 "Buy My Soul Back," on the VizzTone label, calls on his "who's who" list of blues artists to create a gem of a recording that reveals Selfe's dedication to traditional blues. The band was inducted into the Cascade Blues Association Hall of Fame in 2012 for Traditional Blues Act. In 2014, Selfe was inducted for Electric Guitar. Selfe and the band have won 19 Muddy Awards from the CBA, including Traditional Blues Act of the Year (2010-14), Contemporary Blues Act of the Year (2009, 2013, 2015), Performance of the Year (2012, 2013), Electric Guitar (2012-14), Northwest Recording of the Year (2013) and National Recording of the Year (2013). Folk Music Festival Jackson County Fuel Committee's sixth annual Folk Music Festival lineup will showcase Jen Ambrose, Frankie Hernandez, Jive Mountain, The Ancient Wild, Zhawen Wahpepah and Gene Burnett. Live music is from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at Grizzly Peak Winery, 1600 E. Nevada St., Ashland. There will be a no-host bar featuring Grizzly Peak wines. Admission is $20 and includes dinner. Call 541-488-2905 for information. 'The Windy City Late Night Revue' Oregon Cabaret Theatre presents its "Late Night Cabaret" at 11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, and Monday, Aug. 15. OCT Artistic Director Valerie Rachelle will host the shows, and Mike Wilkins, director of "Chicago," will provide piano accompaniment. Look for members of OCT's production of "Chicago," along with Rachelle, Jessica Blaszak, Leah Kolb and Sarah Brizek, singing such songs as "She Used to Be Mine," "Call Me Irresponsible," "Summer in Ohio," "Screw Loose" and "You’re the Inspiration" from the band Chicago. The show is not recommended for ages younger than 18. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door, and can be purchased online at oregoncabaret.com or by calling 541-488-2902.
