A Taste of Ashland: Ashland galleries will display art while showcasing food from area restaurants and regional wines from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, April 23-24, during the 27th annual A Taste of Ashland. Tickets are $65 for both Saturday and Sunday, $55 for Saturday only and $45 for Sunday only. Tickets are limited to prevent overcrowding. A free shuttle by AllAboard Trolley will offer rides to all 17 galleries, but most are within walking distance. The event includes four food trucks paired with wineries near the Schneider Museum of Art. SOU will host an Ashland Gallery Association Pop-Up Show featuring 15 artists. Festival Noons: Oregon Shakespeare Festival Resident Dramaturg Lydia Garcia and Artistic Associate Dawn Williams will host "Death Becomes Him" with William Shakespeare games, trivia, activity booths and anniversary cake at noon Saturday, April 23, at Carpenter Hall on the Oregon Shakespeare Festival campus in Ashland. Special guests will join the hosts to discuss Shakespeare’s relevance in 2016. Tickets for Festival Noon events are $12 for adults, $10 for OSF members and $8 for youths ages 6-17.
