Police reports, May 17-18 Thursday May 18, 2017 at 7:35 PM May 18, 2017 at 7:35 PM Local report Wednesday, 12:59 a.m. — Police arrested a man in the 2500 block of Ashland Street on an outstanding warrant and lodged him at the Jackson County Jail.  Wednesday, 4:40 a.m. — A subject stop in the 100 block of Lithia Way led to the subject being placed in protective custody for detox. Wednesday, 12:49 p.m. — Police cited a man for shoplifting in the 200 block of North First Street. Wednesday, 3:12 p.m. — Police transported a man in the Ashland area to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center on a mental health hold. Wednesday, 3:57 p.m. — Police investigated a report of suspicious activity at the intersection of Lithia Way and North Pioneer Street. Wednesday, 6:23 p.m. — A subject stop in the first block of Winburn Way led to a warrant arrest. Wednesday, 7:12 p.m. — Police investigated the reported theft of a wallet in the Ashland area. Wednesday, 8:47 p.m. — Police investigated a report of suspicious activity in the 1500 block of Lilac Circle. Thursday, 1:07 a.m. — Police arrested a woman in the first block of Winburn Way on a trespass charge.
