There will be Nazis, robots, songs by Cole Porter and dancing gangs in New York, but all inspired by Shakespeare's works. In the Feb. 3 film, Jack Benny and Carole Lombard use "Hamlet" to fool the Nazis. Cole Porter's musical version of "The Taming of the Shrew" is the Feb. 10 film. The Feb. 17 movie is "The Tempest" with Robby the Robot and an Id Monster. In the Feb. 24 movie, Romeo and Juliet dance to the songs of Bernstein and Sondheim. Solomon's Blade: Camelot Theatre is proud to present its first show of 2016, "Solomon's Blade" by playwright Lisa Beth Allen. The show previews Feb. 3 and 4, opens Feb. 5 and runs through Feb. 28. Schneider Museum of Art: The museum presents the exhibit "Exploring Reality," which features nine Oregon artists, through March 19. Zimmerman’s songs have been heard on HBO and Showtime. He's shared stages with Bill Maher, Robin Williams, Ellen DeGeneres, John Oliver, Kate Clinton and George Carlin.
