ASHLAND KIWANIS Volunteers to help spruce up Scenic Park Comment DailyTidings.com Writer Posted Aug. 18, 2015 at 2:00 AM Posted Aug. 18, 2015 at 2:00 AM » Social News The Ashland Kiwanis club will team up with one other Ashland service club to help Ashland Parks & Recreation workers trim and do other gardening-type work at Scenic Park on Saturday, Aug. 22. Kiwanis will send seven volunteers for this effort: Russ Chadick, Jo French, Dave Moores, Sandy Kuykendall, Lynn Ransford, Lola Egan and Don Paul. Also volunteering will be several girls from Ashland’s Lithia Springs School. This particular project will run from 8:30 to approximately 10:30 a.m. The two clubs plan to continue this project into subsequent years. The Ashland Parks department is coordinating the project.
