Gallery Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6. The opening of an exhibition of paintings by Terry Frosini, a 70-year-old Ashland resident who traces his ancestry to the Tuscany region in the north of Italy, is set for 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. His live painting takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday. "I paint because I love doing it, need to do it," Frosini said in a news release. Friday's event overlaps with First Friday Art Walk receptions for artists at a number of galleries and other venues from 5 to 8 p.m. downtown, in the Railroad District and at the Schneider Museum of Art at Southern Oregon University.
