September 29, 2014. Born in Sacramento, Calif. in 1930, he moved to the Rogue Valley in 1949. Earle was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He received his Master of Education degree and graduated from Southern Oregon College in 1956. He was a teacher for the Medford School District for 12 years and a principal for 17 years. Earle is survived by his wife of 50 years, Geraldine; children, April, Rebecca, Kirk, and Scott; grandchildren, Josh, Jake, Kara, Morgan, and Perry; and sister, Lovette Rushing. He was predeceased by daughter, Kimberlee; brother, Tomas Leander Swift; father, Earle Morgan Swift Sr.; and mother, Amy Schroeder Swift. At Earle's request, there will be family only at the service. His ashes are interred at Eagle Point National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family will be grateful for your donation to a charity of your choice. Earle donated to The Nature Conservatory and National Wildlife Federation.
