As archaic as that sounds, it was less than four years ago. Still, that’s a long time to remember where HBO’s celebrity-fueled ode to casual sex and weed left off — especially since even many of its once-rabid fans bailed before its hot mess of an eighth and final season. It was an ignominious ending for the series about four lifelong friends, and one rage-aholic agent, as they partied their way from the Playboy Mansion to their Lakers floor seats, with trips to Sundance, Cannes and Vegas (twice) along the way. So, with the “Entourage” movie hitting theaters on Wednesday, June 3, here’s a look at what Vince, E, Drama, Turtle and Ari were up to at the end: VINCENT CHASE Portrayed by: Adrian Grenier In the final season: Graduated from rehab, where he was sent after being beaten up by Eminem and arrested for cocaine possession. … Used a fake penis filled with clean urine to beat a drug test. … Made it into the tabloids again after being at the scene of a producer’s suicide. … Was the focus of a disastrous Vanity Fair cover story. Last seen: Flying to Paris to marry the Vanity Fair journalist (Alice Eve) after one date. ERIC “E” MURPHY Portrayed by: Kevin Connolly In the final season: Opened his own talent management group. … Impregnated his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui), after feuding with her and having multiple sexual encounters with her ex-stepmother (Melinda Clarke). Last seen: Flying with Sloan on a private jet to parts unknown to try to fix their relationship. JOHNNY “DRAMA” CHASE Portrayed by: Kevin Dillon In the final season: Found a potential breakout hit, voicing an angry gorilla alongside Andrew Dice Clay, on CBS’ animated “Johnny’s Bananas.” … Landed the lead role in a CBS movie of the week, about a widower and his labrador who rescue trapped Romanian miners, after Vince wrote the treatment — and paid the producer $100,000. Last seen: Flying with Vince to Paris. SALVATORE “TURTLE” ASSANTE Portrayed by: Jerry Ferrara In the final season: Burned down Vince’s mansion. … Convinced Mark Teixeira, Amar’e Stoudemire, Michael Strahan and other New York athletes to help him bring his beloved Queens red-sauce joint Don Peppe to the West Coast. … Made $3.5 million from the sale of his Avion tequila stock, yet still chauffeurs Vince around L.A. Last seen: Flying with Vince to Paris. ARI GOLD Portrayed by: Jeremy Piven In the final season: Dated Warner Bros. President Dana Gordon (Constance Zimmer) while separated from Mrs. Ari (Perrey Reeves). … Won Mrs. Ari back from a cuckolding Bobby Flay. … Chose his family over success and walked away from his talent agency — and Lloyd (Rex Lee) — to move to Italy for a year.
