According to an Ashland Police Department news release, Andrew Thibert is believed to be with 15-year-old Sylvia Davis, who was reported missing Monday. Police say Davis, 17-year-old Hannah Thomas-Garner and another girl had planned to run away together, but the other girl backed out. Thomas-Garner has been missing since early Sunday morning, when she was last seen at a party off Dead Indian Memorial Road that started Saturday night. Police found her car abandoned in Mt. Shasta City, Calif., very early Monday morning. A credible witness later told police he had picked up Thomas-Garner on I-5 near Mt. Shasta about 10 a.m. Monday morning and given her a ride to a coffee shop in Dunsmuir. Surveillance video taken about 7 a.m. Tuesday at the Win River Mini-Mart in Redding, Calif., showed a young woman police thought might have been Thomas-Garner, but detectives now say they don't think it was her. Police say they haven't ruled out the possibility that Thomas-Garner may be with both Davis and Thibert. Police say Thibert owns a white 1996 Ford Ranger XL Supercab pickup with California license plate 5L01155 and that he and Davis may be in south Humboldt County.
