Medford police arrested Smith Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, warrants charging failure to appear in court on charges of meth possession, third-degree robbery, felon in possession of a weapon and second-degree theft, and for violating his probation on a weapons charge. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Saturday without bail. Impaired Driving — Lance Corey Smith, 30, of the 1200 block of Kelly Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Smith Saturday on felony warrants charging third-degree assault and driving under the influence of intoxicants, misdemeanor charges of reckless driving, driving under the influence of intoxicants and recklessly endangering, and misdemeanor warrants charging reckless driving, recklessly endangering and driving while suspended. He booked in the jail and released Saturday on his own recognizance. Hit-and-Run — Christopher David Williams, 29, of the 1800 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Williams Saturday on a felony charge of failing to perform the duties of a driver to an injured person and a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday on his own recognizance. Drug Possession — Alex Roy Martinez, 42, no known address. Medford police arrested Martinez Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous meth possession charges, and for violating his probation on a previous meth possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail. Sex Offender Registration — Garland Douglas Brittain, 32, of the 600 block of Newt Gulch Road, Wilderville. Medford police arrested Brittain Saturday on felony charges of failing to register his address as a sex offender and methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday.
