Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Advertisement Email Story to a Friend April 21, 2006 Local Report Raider lacrosse team to host Whitman in playoff The Southern Oregon University lacrosse club team will host Whitman College in a playoff game at 1 p.m. Saturday at the SOU soccer field. The Raiders are 8-2 overall and were 6-2 in division play. They are led on offense by junior Jamison Whitehead, who has 40 goals and eight assists. Other scoring leaders are senior Kyle Chrisman (16 and 13), freshman Alex White (23 and seven) and senior Nick Reiten (eight and seven). Defensively, sophomore Dan Snell, junior Kendall McCloud and senior Jack Thompson lead the way. Sophomore Greg Morrelli is the goalie. Suarez pitches no-hitter for Mount Hood CC Former North Medford pitcher Josh Suarez tossed a no-hitter Thursday as Mount Hood Community College blanked Lane Community College, 9-0, in a seven-inning baseball game. It was the second game of a Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges doubleheader. Lane won the opener, 2-1, in nine innings. Suarez is a freshman.
