Pear Blossom Baby Contest planned April 2 Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Feb. 21, 2016 at 12:01 AM Posted Feb. 21, 2016 at 12:01 AM » Social News The 31st annual Pear Blossom Baby Contest, sponsored by Soroptimist International of Medford, has been set for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at Rogue Valley Mall. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on the lower level of the mall in front of JC Penney. Entry fee is $10 and entry forms are available at Gymboree, Class E Professor, Little Feet, Kid To Kid and by emailing Leslie Oakley at [email protected]. Parents can register their babies the day of the event. The contest is open to babies ages 5 months to 16 months. There are six categories: Quickest Smile (boy and girl), Bluest Eyes, Prettiest Hair and Chubbiest Baby. All entrants are eligible for Baby Bud and Baby Blossom. Winners will ride in the Pear Blossom Parade Saturday, April 9. This year’s sponsors are Soroptimist International of Medford, Lithia Motors, Father and Son’s Jewelers and Rogue Valley Mall. All proceeds will go to help the Family Nurturing Center. For questions, call Oakley at 541-292-6212.
