Emergency services, Jan. 3 Jan 04, 2023 12:15 AM A A Felony arrests Criminal mischief — Jeffrey Jerald Peters, 52, no known address. Medford police arrested Peters Saturday on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree disorderly conduct. Peters was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance. Domestic abuse — Steven Charles Wiedel, 58, of Williams. Phoenix police arrested Wiedel Sunday on charges of felony fourth-degree domestic abuse and driving under the influence of alcohol. Wiedel was not listed in jail records Tuesday. Contempt of court — Steven Thomas McNamee, 47, of the 4100 block of Barbara Jean Way, Medford. Medford police arrested McNamee Monday on charges of unlawful possession of less than 1 ounce of methamphetamine and contempt of court for violating a no contact order. Theft — Sabastian Jay Silva, 26, of the 600 block of Pine Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Silva Sunday on two counts of first-degree theft. Silva was lodged in jail and released on $7,500 security. Theft — Joseph Thomas O’Neil, 21, of the 3300 block of Sycamore Way, Medford. Medford police arrested O’Neil Monday on a charge of first-degree theft. O’Neil was lodged in jail but was not listed in jail records Tuesday. Hit and run — Patrick Houston Preyer, 36, of the 800 block of Taylor Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Preyer on charges of hit and run-property damage, second-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, two counts of reckless endangering and driving under the influence of alcohol. Preyer was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
