McCoy scores four in Challengers win By Mail Tribune staff Oct 31, 2019 10:18 PM A A Jonny McCoy scored four goals to lead Cascade Christian to a 5-2 District 5 boys soccer victory over Rogue River Thursday. Cody Reece, Donminic Lewis, David Flores-Hernandez assisted on the first three. Caleb Knight celebrated Senior Day with a booming punt to McCoy for the fourth. Cody Reece scored in the 71st minute on a pass from Kai Coster to close out the Challengers’ scoring. Zyles Perryman scored two late goals from the Chieftans. The second-place Challengers finished the league schedule with a 9-3 record and are 9-4-2 overall. Their playoff status is to be determined. Rogue River ended the season 4-8 in league and overall. soccer.jpg
