October 16. 2014 11:29AM Vaccinate pets at low-cost clinic The Jackson County Animal Shelter will host a low-cost vaccination clinic for pets from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at the shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Highway, Phoenix. Rabies and distemper vaccinations cost $10 apiece. Nail trimming also will be offered for $5. Only cash will be accepted. Ill animals, or those on antibiotics, in heat or on cortisone products cannot receive the shots.
