"I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I'm sorry, Nicki," Swift tweeted Thursday. "That means so much Taylor, thank you," Minaj replied, before responding to a fan who was happy that the two had made up. "I've always loved her. Everyone makes mistakes. She gained so much more respect from me. Let's move on." I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I'm sorry, Nicki. @NICKIMINAJ — Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) July 23, 2015 That means so much Taylor, thank you. @taylorswift13 ️ ️ ️— NICKI MINAJ (@NICKIMINAJ) July 23, 2015 I've always loved her. Everyone makes mistakes. She gained so much more respect from me. Let's move on. https://t.co/mx9pfIdnzT — NICKI MINAJ (@NICKIMINAJ) July 23, 2015 The so-called feud began on Tuesday when the MTV VMA nominations were revealed and Minaj, who isn't up for Video of the Year, voiced her frustration in a series of tweets on a larger point about how black women are infrequently recognized for their influence on pop culture. Swift, assuming one of the tweets was aimed at her, struck back, saying that it was unlike Minaj to "pit women against each other." Confused, Minaj said Swift missed her point: "Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn't say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this." (Minaj, by the way, included us when she thanked various outlets for helping her make her point.) All of Taylor Swift's "OMG, I won!" faces ranked! Things escalated Wednesday when Katy Perry threw massive shade at Swift , pointing out the irony in her comments since "Bad Blood" is about their supposed feud. Swift has not acknowledged Perry, but Minaj tweeted a kissing face emoji at the singer. 😘 @katyperry — NICKI MINAJ (@NICKIMINAJ) July 23, 2015 So, can we all move on?
