New Seed benefit Nov. 5 Oct 27, 2009 12:00 AM A A A benefit for a development organization that promotes sustainable agriculture technologies has been scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at Standing Stone Brewing Co., 101 Oak St., Ashland. The program for Semilla Nueva, or New Seed, will include a three-course local and organic meal; sustainability presentations by Rabbi David Zaslow and Brook Golling; and a 30-minute salsa dance lesson by Sergei Boutenko with a following dance. There will also be a silent auction of items provided by artists and merchants and a raffle drawing for a variety of prizes. The price is $30 per person.
