Search ends for woman missing near Grants Pass Josephine County sheriff�s deputies called off the search for a woman who apparently disappeared into the rugged mountains south of Grants Pass earlier this week. Deputies stopped looking for Kim Marie Roache, 43, of Grants Pass, Saturday after searching in the Siskiyou National Forest for three days and finding no clues to her whereabouts. Authorities began searching for Roache Thursday. They found her car on Friday; it had been driven over an embankment near the Onion Mountain Lookout in the Siskiyou forest. After searching the area, deputies said it appears Roache got out of the car and started walking into the woods. She eventually returned to the road, however, and began walking toward Briggs Valley, deputies concluded. Authorities said they believe Roache either walked to Briggs Valley or accepted a ride from a motorist. There are no signs of foul play, deputies said. Roache has been missing since Wednesday; she was last seen about 2 a.m. at her residence. She is described as a 5-foot-2, 110-pound white woman with blond hair and blue eyes.
