Lee Ann was born April 4, 1948 to Barney and Shirley Riggs. She grew up in a large, loving family with two sisters and two brothers. Lee Ann married her high school sweetheart, Mike Cox, in 1968 and they had two children, Chris and Shaun. Lee Ann had varied interests and cultivated many friendships that lasted decades long. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing especially for her large family. Lee Ann will be remembered for her big heart, generous spirit, and her great strength. Lee Ann is survived by her two children, Chris and Shaun; as well as her sisters, Teresa Snyder, and Hollie Riggs; brothers, Steve and Scott Riggs; two grandchildren, Cody and Clayton Cox; and numerous nieces and nephews. It was Lee Ann’s wish to not have a formal service. If you wish to honor her life, a memorial contribution may be made in her name to: Ronald McDonald House Charities of Portland, Oregon, 2620 N. Commercial Ave., Portland, Ore. 97227, 971-230-6706.
