Donnie Frazier will take helm of South Medford Jun 21, 2017 12:00 AM A A South Medford High School Assistant Principal Donnie Frazier will become interim principal in August, the Medford School District has announced. Frazier has been with South Medford for 20 years, six years as counselor and 14 as assistant principal. Prior to his time at South, Frazier was a teacher for 10 years in California. Superintendent Brian Shumate said the lateness of the open position — Principal Damian Crowson resigned in late May to take a job in another district — "hiring an interim is the most prudent option.” The district will make an assessment next winter to decide how to proceed, the announcement said.
