John David Clogston Feb 02, 2014 12:00 AM A A John David Clogston, 73, passed away January 23, 2014. He was born July 2, 1940 in Medford, Ore. to Martin and Ruth Clogston. John was a retired Navy man and Vietnam Veteran. He was also a mechanic and driver for L & S Trucking. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Joe) Gomez; granddaughters, Vanessa Gomez of Atlanta, Georgia and Naomi (Chris) Gomez-Stallings of Austin, Texas; grandson, Joseph A. Gomez II of Austin, Texas; great-grandson, Aaron Gustus of Richmond, Va.; brother, Donald (Gayle) Clogston of Central Point, Ore.; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carolyn Clogston. No memorial is planned at this time.
