Ashland Kiwanis Giving Tree is up through Dec. 18 Dec 07, 2011 12:00 AM A A The Ashland Kiwanis Giving Tree will be up through Dec. 18 at the Ashland Albertsons. The tree is decorated with the names of children and their wishes for a special Christmas gift. The children come from low-income families and are recommended by South Valley Community Human Services in Ashland. Those interested in buying gifts for the children can take a name, buy the indicated gift or one similar, and return it unwrapped to Albertsons Customer Service Center by Dec. 18. Kiwanis members and members of the Ashland High School Key Club will wrap the gifts for delivery to the children before Christmas. For more information, call 541-488-0532.
