She had been battling cancer and spent her last days in the Sacramento area visiting family and friends. Her best friend, Beth, and husband Scott Kalbus offered their home to support and care for her as well as support Nathan Sheafor, her husband, as her transition occurred with the wonderful help of Hospice. Michele was 49. Michele was born in Chico, Calif. June 8, 1965. She was a stained glass artist and the sole owner of Cutting Edge Stained Glass. Another joy was donating materials, time, and love to make windows for Flowers of Hope. First Christian Church, where her service will be held at 1:00 p.m. December 20, 2014, is where her most ambitious art work is on display. More than 20 windows are now warming its interior light as well as supplying beautiful viewing as you drive by the church during the evening hours. One of Michele's first jobs was the chapel window at Asante Hospital. A wonderous window depicting the Rogue River. Michele is survived by her husband, Nathan, and her two daughters, Ashley and Jennie. Her mother and father, Lloyd and Olivia Yarbrough, live in the town she grew up in, Cohasset, Calif. Ashley is married to Frank Hernandez and they have two children, Heath and Olivia. A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. December 20, 2014 at First Christian Church, 305 SW H St, Grants Pass, OR 97526. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: Lovejoy Hospice, 938 SE 8th St, Grants Pass, OR 97526 or First Christian Church, 305 SW H St, Grants Pass, OR 97526. Her beautiful spirit, personality, easy laugh, and zest for life will be missed by all who connected with her. Michele, you are loved and will always be remembered.
