Roy Knight's plane was shot down in Vietnam, his son Brian Knight, now a pilot himself, was able to fly his remains home to Texas. When Knight was shot down just four months into his deployment, he was presumed dead. His remains were just recovered and sent to California, where his son Brian was able to fly his body on the last leg of the trip to Texas, finally bringing Col. Roy Knight home.
