Woman dies after getting hit by pickup

A 52-year-old Vancouver, Washington, woman died Wednesday night after being struck by a truck on Highway 99 near Sage Road. (Location corrected). Bonnie Weyburn was transported to the hospital but later died from her injuries, according to Oregon State Police. A preliminary investigation determined a 2018 Ford F-150 pickup operated by Jordan Abbasi, 33, of Missouri City, Texas, was traveling northbound on Highway 99 when the truck struck a pedestrian. OSP received the call at 8:44 p.m. Abbasi was not injured and is cooperating with the investigation.
