Feel like July? Forecasters says tanning weather could last through month's end It's been more than a decade since the Rogue Valley has seen temperatures this hot this late in the fall. The mercury hit 83 degrees Tuesday and a still-unseasonable 80 on Wednesday, said Brenda Graham of the National Weather Service. The normal high for Oct. 20 is 67. While it was warm, it didn't break the record of 83 for both days, set in 1987, Graham said. The weather isn't expected to cool until after the Halloween costumes start coming out of their packages. Graham said the weather service isn't predicting any rain or cooler temperatures for at least another 10 days. So, a good costume for Halloween might be a bathing suit? "I don't know about that," Graham said. Mail Tribune Copyright   The Mail Tribune 1999, Medford, Oregon USA
