A Medford police officer late Tuesday arrested Atwood on two counts of possession of amphetamines and two counts of failure to appear in court. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Wednesday on $60,000 bail. Drugs — Dayna Ann Phillips, 46, of the 500 block of Alder Street, Central Point. Phillips appeared Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of amphetamines. She was booked into jail then released on her own recognizance. Drugs — John Vernon Hughes Jr., 41, of the 1000 block of Tamera Drive, Klamath Falls. Hughes appeared Wednesday in Circuit Court on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was booked into jail then released on his own recognizance.
