Bradley Thomas Allen, 52, of the 8900 block of Butte Falls Highway was arraigned Wednesday on an indictment charging him with unlawful use of a firearm, coercion with a firearm, pointing a firearm at another, menacing constituting domestic violence and harassment. According to an affidavit by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, the couple had a verbal fight about the wife, Diane Allen, taking some of Bradley Allen's bullets. Bradley Allen then menaced his wife Feb. 21 by holding her down on a couch by her neck and placing a pistol to her head, the affidavit said. A Chevron gas station employee later called for law enforcement help when Diane Allen arrived at the station trembling and with no shoes or wallet, the affidavit said. She told deputies she was scared for her life and believed Bradley Allen would have killed her if she had not fled. Bradley Allen was arrested, the affidavit said. A pre-trial conference for Bradley Allen is scheduled for May 11.
