A Medford police officer Saturday arrested McKenzie on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Saturday night on $5,000 bail. Assault — Jason James Beth, 31, of the 300 block of South Holly Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Beth on a charge of fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail and released after posting bail. Assault — Richard Lee Rogers, 47, of the 300 block of Liberty Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Rogers on a charge of fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail and released after posting bail. Assault — Maria Elena Montano-Garcia, 30, of the 1600 block of East Dutton Road, Eagle Point. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Saturday arrested Montano-Garcia on a charge of fourth-degree assault. She was lodged in jail and released after posting bail. Theft — Daniel Thomas O’Rourke, 39, of the 800 block of Reiten Drive, Ashland. A sheriff’s deputy Saturday arrested O’Rourke on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving with a suspended license and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Scott Irwin Wilder, 36, of the 900 block of Newtown Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Wilder on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail and released after posting bail. Advertisement Crime reports Theft — 1600 block of Antelope Road, White City. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Saturday took a report of a theft in which $1,200 worth of items were taken from a mini storage. Theft — 2300 block of Howard Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday took a report of a theft of a 1989 Chevrolet pickup. Theft — 400 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday took a report of a theft of a 1988 Mercury Topaz. Fire calls Vehicle fire — Three members of the Lake Creek Rural Fire Department responded to a call of a burning vehicle on Highway 140 near Fish Lake. Fire Chief Mike Hall said a 1994 F-150 was destroyed by the fire, reported at about 3:30 p.m. A fuel tank and a propane tank on the truck exploded, Hall said. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is unknown. A damage estimate was not available, Hall said. Two hospitalized following motorcycle accident Two men were hospitalized Saturday following a motorcycle accident on East Fork Forest Creek Road, north of Ruch. Emergency crews went to the scene at about 2:30 p.m. One of the men was flown by helicopter to a Medford hospital, while another was taken by ambulance. Jackson County Fire District # 9, Capt. Greg Gilbert said neither injury appeared to be critical. Names of the motorcyclists were not available, Gilbert said. Girls injured in go-cart accident in Central Point Two young girls were hospitalized Saturday with injuries sustained in a go-cart accident on private property along Tolo Road in Central Point. At 2:10 p.m., someone at 5645 Tolo Road called 911 after witnessing the accident, said Capt. Robert Walters of Jackson County Fire District No. 3’s Central Point station. Two girls age 6 and 9 were taken to a Medford hospital with injuries. Their conditions were unknown Saturday night. No further information was available, Walters said.
