A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Monday arrested Hall on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and possession of amphetamine. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, then released on bail. Sex abuse — Dennis Joseph Hofer, 58, of the 1500 block of Woodland Drive, Ashland. Medford police on Monday arrested Hofer on a charge of displaying a child in a sexual manner. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. Vehicle theft — Rheanna Joy Davis, 25, of the 800 block of West Second Street, Medford. Medford police on Sunday arrested Davis on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of amphetamines and possession of contraband. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail. Vehicle theft — Kristopher Ian Simpson, 28, of the 400 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police on Sunday arrested Simpson on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, furnishing false information to a police officer, and violating the conditions of his parole on a previous burglary conviction. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail. Miscellaneous Jail releases — A total of 119 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its court-ordered cap of no more than 190 inmates. Of those, 26 were released before their scheduled court appearances, six were granted early release from their sentences and 87 were released for miscellaneous reasons.
