One arrest leads police to another in Medford A woman police believe tried to rob a Quick Shop Market and left her Mickey Mouse sweatshirt behind was arrested Thursday. Jazmine Ann Lance, 21, no permanent address, was charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery and possession of methamphetamine after Medford police searched a residence on the 2400 block of Howard Avenue for case evidence around 4:10 p.m. But instead of finding evidence in the Quick Shop case, police located bumper stickers and other items identified as stolen and a piece of clothing believed to belong to an armed female suspect who robbed the Magic Man store last week, said Medford Police Lt. Mike Moran. Police still aren't sure if the two robberies are connected, but they are investigating that possibility, Moran said. Police also recovered property at the Howard Avenue address that may have been taken in recent area burglaries, he said. Police also arrested a man at the residence who reportedly had eight grams of methamphetamine. Robert Paul Thomas, 26 , of the 100 block of DeHague Road, Medford, was charged with two counts of possession, distribution and manufacture of the controlled substance. Police were unable to determine if he is connected to either robbery, Moran said. Two other Medford women were cited for possession of methamphetamine and released at the scene. Police are still seeking a female suspect in the Magic Man robbery. That case and the Quick Shop robbery are still under investigation.
