Public's help sought in search for dementia patient By Local report Aug 19, 2019 03:44 PM A A The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing dementia patient from the Wimer area. Deputies and search-and-rescue volunteers are looking for Billy Brand, 86. He wandered away from the Redthorne Road area near Wimer. He is believed to have walked off some time today between 9:30 a.m. and noon. Brand was last seen wearing blue jeans and a denim shirt with a Boston terrier cartoon on the back. He is 5-feet-6, weighs 165 pounds and has hazel eyes. Brand is not carrying a phone. Anyone with information about his location is asked to call Sgt. Shawn Richards at 541-774-6800. Billy Brand
