The show opens Friday, Nov. 20, and runs through Dec. 31. Curtain is at 8 p.m. evenings, 1 p.m. for matinees. Tickets are $35 and available at www.oregoncabaret.com or by calling 541-488-2902. 'Seagull': A new version of Russian playwright Anton Chekov's "The Seagull," written by Libby Appel and directed by Jackie Apodaca, will be presented at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20-21, and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 21-22, in the Center Square Theatre at Southern Oregon University, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland. ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum: Explore the technology, culture and special effects of the iconic 1980s "Back to the Future" movie series on Saturday, Nov. 21. Pacific Northwest DeLorean Club member Mark Vanyo will have his 1981 DeLorean on site, complete with a fabricated flux capacitor, which in the movie powered the time travel. See movie memorabilia, including cast photos, sketches of the original flux capacitor, futuristic Pepsi bottles used in the film and more. The museum is at 1500 E. Main St., Ashland.
