Now police are looking for a man known to hang out in the park — 43-year-old Justin Keaton — so they can ask him some questions about what happened Jackson County Fire District 3 responded to Don Jones Park, located off New Haven Road, at 6:15 p.m. Sunday after receiving reports of smoke wafting from the men's restroom. One engine went to the park and was able to extinguish the flames quickly, fire officials said . Investigators found the toilet paper had been pulled from all the spools, draped and wrapped about the restroom, then set ablaze. "The fortunate thing it was made out of cinder blocks, so it didn’t burn through," said District 3 spokeswoman Ashley Lara. "The toilets were really damaged and burned, but there wasn’t really anywhere for it to go." Fire officials estimate around $5,000 in damage to the men's room, which remains closed until further notice. The investigation showed the women's bathroom had been prepared in the same fashion, but the toilet paper hadn't been lit. Police say Keaton is also wanted on a unrelated warrant. In a Facebook post, the department said he "frequents the area of the Greenway and Pilot in Central Point, and is associated with an address in the 100 block of West Vilas Road. He uses a newer model black mountain bike as his primary form of transportation." Anyone with information about Keaton's whereabouts is asked to contact 541-664-5578.
