Talent police arrested Jeannot Sunday on charges of felony fourth- degree assault; harassment and menacing. He was released from the Jackson County Jail after posting cash bail of $500. Rape — Sean Wayne Hodgson, 23, of the 200 block of North Eighth Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Hodgson Sunday on a warrant charging him with third-degree rape. He was lodged in the county jail, where he remained Monday on bail of $10,000. Burglary — Chance James Ricks, 29, of the 2500 block of Alma Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Ricks Monday on charges of first- degree burglary, first-degree theft, two counts of first-degree criminal mischief, stalking, and driving under the influence of marijuana. He was lodged in the county jail, where he remained late Monday on bail of $39,000. Aggravated theft — Christopher James Silva, 31, of the 500 block of King Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Silva Monday on a charge of first-degree aggravated theft. He was lodged in the county jail, where he remained late Monday on bail of $10,000. Crime reports Burglary — Jackson County sheriff’s deputies took a report Monday of a residential burglary in the 1400 block of Tolman Creek Road, Ashland Advertisement Miscellaneous Jail releases — Jackson County released 86 inmates during the previous week to meet the court-imposed jail cap of 216. Of those, 20 were released on their own recognizance; 21 were given early release; and 45 were released for other reasons.
