MISSING TEENS One of two runaway Ashland teens may be with California man Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Dec. 4, 2014 at 4:57 PM Updated Dec 4, 2014 at 5:01 PM Posted Dec. 4, 2014 at 4:57 PM Updated Dec 4, 2014 at 5:01 PM » RELATED CONTENT • Missing teen possibly seen in Florida » Social News Detectives say they've identified a 19-year-old California man they believe may be with one of two runaway teenagers reported missing from Ashland this week. According to an Ashland Police Department news release, Andrew Thibert is believed to be with 15-year-old Sylvia Davis, who was reported missing Monday. Police say Davis, 17-year-old Hannah Thomas-Garner and another girl had planned to runaway together, but the other girl backed out. Thomas-Garner has been missing since Saturday, when she was last seen at a party off Dead Indian Memorial Road. Police later found her car abandoned in Mt. Shasta City, Calif. A credible witness later told police he had picked up Thomas-Garner on I-5 near Mt. Shasta and given her a ride to a coffee shop in Dunsmuir. Surveillance video taken Tuesday at the Win River Mini-Mart in Redding, Calif., showed a young woman police thought might have been Thomas-Garner, but detectives now say they don't think it was her. Police say they haven't ruled out the possibility that Thomas-Garner may be with both Davis and Thibert. Police say Thibert owns a white 1996 Ford Ranger XL Supercab pickup with California license plate 5L01155 and that he and Davis may be in south Humboldt County. Anybody with information is asked to call the Ashland Police Department at 541-482-5211 or their local police department.
