Singler, Madrid reach tourney title game Feb 19, 2012 12:00 AM A A BARCELONA — Kyle Singler scored 10 points, making both of the 3-point shots he attempted, in helping Real Madrid defeat Civic Banking, 92-84, Saturday in the Copa del Rey tournament. The victory vaults Real Madrid into today's championship game against Regal FC Barcelona. It's the third straight year the two have met in the final. Singler, who was 4-for-6 from the field, also had five rebounds in just over 19 minutes of play. Real Madrid set a tournament record for 3-pointers with 14 in 25 attempts. The two teams combined for 25 treys, also record, and Real Madrid's 30 points in the third quarter was a record for that period. Real Madrid opened a 76-60 lead through three quarters, then held on. It was led in scoring by Nikola Mirotic, with 21 points, and Sergio Llull, with 17.
