Leon, Wyatt pace efforts by Bulldogs Lionel Leon and Daniel Boone Wyatt of the Bulldog Boxing Club continued their dominance with wins Saturday at the Doubletree Inn in Medford. For their efforts, Leon and Wyatt were each named outstanding fighter in their respective divisions in the nine-team tournament. Leon was the top senior fighter, improving his record to 11-3 with a decision over Cesar Lopez, of Dallas, at the 125-pound senior division. Wyatt, 13, was the top junior fighter, and improved his record to 25-2 with a decision over Jonathan Leonard, of Sweet Home, at 106 pounds. In other Bulldog Boxing Club action, Ronnie Mack, of Burns, decisioned the Bulldogs' Moises Rodriguez at the 70-pound division for 9 year olds; Austin Hernandez earned a second round stoppage over Gary Maddux, of Virginia City, Nev., at the 80-pound division for ages 11-12; Luis Avila decisioned Pat Weinland, of Virginia City, Nev., at the 75-pound division for ages 10-11; Kylie Allen, of Bulldogs, decisioned Maria Andrade, of Sweet Home, at the 106-pound senior division; Ben Perez, 9, decisioned Richie Mayall, of Virginia City, Nev., at 70 pounds; Alex Trujillo decisioned Buddy Pfaff, of Burns, at the 125-pound division for ages 12-13; Jamie Baron, of Roseville, earned a third round stoppage of Denise Gillentine at the 119-pound senior division; Sam Sleezer decisioned Greg Kirkpatrick, of Roseville, at the 201-pound senior division; and Mike Wilson, 15, decisioned Tyler Henke, of McDermott, at the 201-plus division.
