Dennis was born December 29, 1940 in Klamath Falls, Ore. to Orie Peugh and Grace (Witt) Peugh. He married (Edith) Anne DeHoff September 6, 1962 and they enjoyed 52 ½ years of marriage. After Dennis graduated from Harding University, Searcy, Ark. with a degree in accounting in 1964, he and Anne moved to Klamath Falls where they lived for 40 years and raised their four children, Sharon, Glen, Carl, and Andrea. Dennis worked his entire career at one accounting firm. He started at an entry level position and worked up to senior managing partner at the time of his retirement from Molatore, Peugh, Scroggin, & Peterson, CPAs. In 2004, Dennis and Anne moved to Central Point to be closer to children and grandchildren. Dennis was a life-long member of the Church of Christ and his Christianity was a big part of who he was. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends while camping, hunting, fishing, and traveling. He also possessed a huge skill set that allowed him to build the family home in Klamath Falls. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Anne; his four children and their spouses, Sharon and Brian Simmons, Glen and Rene' Peugh, Carl and Traci Peugh, and Andrea and Michael Crisp; his special adopted daughter and her spouse, Jeanese and Jeremy Poole; his sister, Donna; and his 13 grandchildren, Luke Simmons, Madison Simmons, Bailey Peugh, Logan Peugh, Kelly Crisp, Nash Crisp, Zoe Peugh, Lila Peugh, Orie Peugh, Adam Peugh, Robyn Poole, Clara Poole, and Kent Poole. In keeping with Dennis' life-long commitment to Christian education, the family is requesting donations be made to Columbia Christian Schools, 413 NE 91st Street, Portland, Oregon 97220 in lieu of flowers.
