Ashland police arrested Files late Tuesday on charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, then posted bail and was released Wednesday. Drugs — Heather D. Goodwin, 30, of the 600 block of East Sterling Creek Drive, Ashland. Central Point police arrested Goodwin Wednesday on a charge of possession of amphetamines. She was lodged in jail, then released on her own recognizance Wednesday. Drugs — Ted Bishop Jensen, 22, of the 600 block of Catherine Street, Medford. Central Point police arrested Jensen Wednesday on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Wednesday night on $10,000 bail. Drugs — Japheth Lee Fitzgerald, 20, of the 200 block of Alder Street, Phoenix. Medford police arrested Fitzgerald Wednesday on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Wednesday night on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Kameron Michele Slavenski, 19, of the 800 block of Valley View Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Slavenski Wednesday on a charge of possession of amphetamines. She was lodged in jail, then released when she posted cash on $5,000 bail. Theft — Stacey Denise Hoover, 31, no address listed. Medford police arrested Hoover Wednesday on charges of first-degree theft, possession and delivery of amphetamines, and out- of-county warrants charging her with failure to appear on theft and burglary charges. She was lodged in jail, where she remained Wednesday night on $100,000 bail. Advertisement Drugs — Andrew Caucutt, 40, of the 6100 block of Sterling Creek Road, Jacksonville. Caucutt appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Wednesday on an indictment charging him with possession of amphetamines. He was booked into jail and released. Burglary — Daniel Murillo, 21, of the 200 block of South Columbus Avenue, Medford. Murillo appeared in Circuit Court Wednesday on an indictment charging him with first-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree theft and a charge of second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked into jail and released. Injury accident Dump truck crash — Mile 10, West Fork of Evans Creek Road. Wednesday morning Jackson County sheriff’s deputies went to a report of a dump truck that had rolled over an embankment in a remote northwest corner of the county trapping the injured driver inside. The driver was freed and taken to a hospital. No additional details were available Wednesday night. Crime reports Theft — 2300 block of Whittle Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report Wednesday of a theft of a white 1986 Mercury Topaz. Theft — 2900 block of Duell Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report Wednesday of a theft of a tool box and miscellaneous tools with a total estimated value of $1,100. Burglary — first block of South Fir Street, Medford. Medford police took a report Wednesday of a burglary in which a laptop computer and its docking station were reported stolen. The items had an estimated value of $1,983, a preliminary police report said. Theft — 2400 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft of golf clubs, bag and a windbreaker with a total estimated value of $1,670. Miscellaneous Court decision — Ross Edward Davis, 44, of the 4300 block of Avenue A, White City. Davis was acquitted Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court of possession of amphetamines. He was charged in December 2003. Correction — Thea Alicia Larson, 26, of the 400 block of Howard Street, Medford. Larson appeared Jackson County Circuit Court Monday on an indictment charging first-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released. During booking, clerks found warrants charging her with failure to appear on two traffic infractions and added those charges. The booking was listed incorrectly in Tuesday’s edition of the Mail Tribune.
